Eric Pooler, Vice President Viticulture, Winery Relations & Bulk Wine Sales
Eric joined Silverado from Westchester in early 2017. He oversees viticulture and grape sales for vineyards located within the Central Coast Wine Region of California, as well as bulk wine sales throughout the state. He also represents the Viticulture Business Unit on Nuveen Natural Capital’s Global ESG Committee.
Eric worked previously with Kendall Jackson as Assistant Vineyard Manager, Hall Wines as Viticulturist, and Boisset Collection as Director of Vineyard Operations and Grower Relations.
Eric is currently pursuing an MSc in Agronomy though Iowa State University. Previously he attended Sonoma State University, attaining an Executive MBA, University of California Davis, attaining a Winemaking Certificate, and California State University Chico, attaining a BS in Agricultural Business with a minor in Crop Science. Eric holds professional licensing as a Certified Crop Advisor, Sustainability Specialist, Precision Agriculture Specialist, Certified Professional Agronomist, USDA Technical Service Provider and California Pest Control Advisor. Eric serves as Vice President of the Napa County Farm Bureau, Board member for the Sonoma County Vineyard Technical Group and the Aldo Delphino Scholarship Fund, as well as Resource Committee member for Leading Harvest.
