Hello, my name is Berenice. I was born and have lived my entire life in Watsonville, CA. I transferred from Cabrillo College in Aptos to San Jose State University, graduating in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Communication.
Currently, I’m the Production Manager at farm-ng, an agricultural robotics startup. My journey with farm-ng began in December 2021, starting part-time, cleaning the office and organizing inventory. Due to my hard work and eagerness to learn, I quickly took on more responsibilities, leading to a full-time position upon graduation.
As the Production Manager, my primary goal is to ensure the highest quality for our products. Our flagship product at farm-ng is the Amiga, a modular and affordable robot suitable for both large and small farms. My role encompasses everything from procurement to assembly, and all the intricate details in between. It’s a comprehensive role, and one of the challenges I’ve encountered, especially being new to this, is ensuring the smooth operation of our production team and warehouse in the fast-paced tech startup environment.
In this short span, I’ve realized that my adaptability and willingness to challenge myself have been instrumental in my growth. I aim to further hone my skills and grow with Farm-ng, and I’m enthusiastic about representing our company at events like FIRA.
