Christina Shupe provides executive direction for the Board’s staff and rulemaking operations and serves on the State Historical Building Safety Board. Her commitment to active stakeholder engagement, open government and inclusion embodies the core principals and mission of OSHSB. Ms. Shupe previously served as Director for the 2010 Citizens Redistricting Commission, which received a national award for public engagement from Harvard University. Prior to entering public service Ms. Shupe was the Business Development Manager for a multi-state trade association where she established collaborative partnerships between industry, government and media, with a focus on education and networking. She has provided business and technical expertise consulting for numerous corporations (Intel, Apple, Applied Materials) and small businesses. In her off-hours, Ms. Shupe sits on the Board of Directors for the Association of California State Supervisors and serves as the Vice President of Government Affairs.
