Call for abstract

Research projects in Agricultural Robotics can potentially address the following topics:

  • AI - developing the datasets for automation
  • Crop-specific automation
  • Automation for precision climate smart agriculture
  • Open innovation projects between research institutions and industry

All contributions in the scope of the scientific topics are welcome. Based on abstract submissions the scientific committee will select the contributions for the 10-minutes oral and/or poster presentations. The selected projects will be announced in the official program of the event. For projects not selected for presentation, you will have the ability to present your project in the posters area. Poster and presentation submissions that are accepted will be guaranteed complimentary registration for the entire conference. All presentations will be recorded and broadcast after the event on FIRA USA website.

Farm Robotics Challenge

Explore the cutting-edge work being done by university students in the world of agricultural technology with the Farm Robotics Challenge. Winners will showcase their engineering, computer science, agronomic, and fabrication abilities by designing a novel farm robot using the Farm-ng platform.

This competition is organized by The VINE and Farm-ng, and supported by Beck's Hybrids, the California Tomato Research Institute, AI Institute for Next Gen Food Systems (AIFS), and Farms Food Future (F3) Innovation.
