Pennsylvania pairs one of the nation’s most diverse agricultural economies with a world-class robotics and AI cluster anchored in Pittsburgh. This makes it an ideal proving ground for autonomous systems and digital ag solutions. We’ll share lessons from cross-border collaborations with South American growers with insights directly transferrable to U.S. specialty crops.
We’ll also outline how the Commonwealth’s strategy, elevating Agriculture and Robotics & Technology as priority growth sectors and backing adoption through new Agricultural Innovation Grants, creates a clear path from lab demo to on-farm deployment.
Finally, we’ll highlight key findings from Team Pennsylvania’s 2025 Agriculture Economic Analysis with a focus on the robust, end-to-end supply chain that positions PA as a domestic net exporter and a competitive global trader.
