Alex is an internationally recognized expert in off-road automation, autonomy and digitalization, as well as in agriculture innovation in the Americas.
He worked 18 years for John Deere developing autonomous technology in the USA, commercializing turf autonomous solutions in Europe, and leading technology innovation and customer support in South America, and finally as lead automation and autonomy architecture.
Afterwards, Alex co-founded Balanced Engineering focusing on supporting automation off-road product development and commercialization, including managing the processes to ensure safety, as well as extending to aerial and marine autonomy technology markets.
Alex obtained his PhD in Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University.
