Zhaojian Li

Haojian Li is Co-Founder and CEO of AgriDynamics Robotics and a Red Cedar Distinguished Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Michigan State University, where he directs the Robotics and Intelligent Vehicle Automation Laboratory. His work spans robotics, autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, and control, with a focus on translating research into field-ready agricultural automation. He has led the development and commercial-orchard testing of multi-arm robotic apple-harvesting systems. He is a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award, the 2025 ASME Dynamic Systems and Control Division Outstanding Young Investigator Award, and the 2026 MSU Innovation of the Year Award. He earned his M.S. and Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan.
