Picker Agrobotics is an Israeli ag-robotics company developing an autonomous harvesting system for orchards, designed to address the growing shortage and rising cost of seasonal harvesting labor.
At the core of our solution is a unique long, flexible robotic arm that can reach deep into dense tree canopies, where conventional rigid robotic arms are often limited. Using advanced computer vision and robotics, the system detects the fruit, reaches it, cuts the stem, and transfers the fruit directly through the arm into the collection bin.
A key part of Picker’s approach is adapting the robot to the orchard, rather than requiring growers to redesign their orchards around the machine. The system is being developed to integrate with existing orchard layouts, harvesting workflows, and fruit bin trains, helping reduce barriers to adoption.
Picker is developing and testing its technology in real orchard environments in close collaboration with growers, agronomists, and industry experts. Our goal is to provide growers with a practical, scalable harvesting solution that reduces dependence on manual labor while maintaining the flexibility required for real-world orchard conditions.
