Walk the rows of WSU's Smart Orchard and vineyard testbeds and see precision agriculture research in action. This field tour visits will cover technology in action for precision irrigation, with live demonstrations of soil and tree-sap flow sensors and weather-guided scheduling; crop load and yield mapping and management technologies, orchard autonomy, featuring autonomous tractors, precision spray retrofits, and robotic harvesters. The tour will have bilingual demonstrations ensuring participants can engage directly with the technology. Post tour, there will be sponsored networking socials at the Smart Farm Testbed.
