Keith Veselka

Keith Veselka grew up in Houston, Texas, and played football at Sam Houston State University. He married his wife Ruth Hull and moved to Yakima, Washington, in 2001. He commissioned in the U.S. Air Force out of Central Washington University and served as a Nuclear Operations Officer and Flight Commander.

After the Air Force, he returned to manage and farm with his father-in-law in central Washington. Keith is co-owner of NWFM LLC, a Washington farm management company that farms approximately 2000 acres of apples, cherries, and pears.

Keith is a Commissioner on the Washington Tree Fruit Research Commission (WTFRC) and Co-chair of the Ag Tech Committee. Keith serves on the board of the Washington Apple Education Foundation (WAEF) and is a past President of the Yakima Pomological Club. He lives in West Valley with his wife Ruth (teacher), and their three children.
