Designed for high-speed operation on small-to-large farms, the system combines three labor-intensive jobs into a single smart pass across the field: precision spot-spray weeding, crop thinning, and targeted application of beneficial inputs like liquid fertilizers, herbicides or fungicides.
At the heart of their innovation is Niqo Sense, a proprietary AI camera module integrated directly into spraying booms. Using real-time edge computing, these vision sensors instantly distinguish between cash crops and weeds in the field, making split-second targeting decisions without needing cloud connectivity. By selectively spraying chemicals exclusively on targeted weeds or specific foliage rather than blanket-spraying an entire field, the technology reduces agrochemical consumption by up to 50–60%. This approach significantly cuts input costs for farmers, minimizes chemical runoff into the local ecosystem, and protects long-term soil health across over 300,000 acres served in India and North America.
