Senseen is an AgTech company developing real-time plant diagnostic technologies to help farmers, agronomists and agricultural professionals better understand crop health and make informed decisions directly in the field.
Its flagship technology, Nutriscope™, is a handheld, non-destructive plant scanner combining advanced photonics with artificial intelligence. By analyzing how plant tissue interacts with UV, visible and near-infrared light, Nutriscope™ translates spectral information into indicators of plant physiology and nutrition. Depending on the crop and available calibration, these can include pH, Redox potential, Brix, electrical conductivity, chlorophyll, stress indicators and macro- and micronutrients.
Nutriscope™ is supported by crop-specific machine-learning models developed through structured calibration campaigns that pair field scans with reference measurements and laboratory ground truth. The resulting information is made available through Senseen’s digital platform, allowing users to access and track field measurements over time.
By bringing measurements that traditionally rely on laboratory analysis closer to the field, Senseen aims to shorten the time between observing a crop, understanding its physiological condition and taking action. Its approach is designed to support more precise input management, earlier identification of plant stress and the transition toward more resilient and sustainable agricultural practices.
